I truly believe the handling of this pandemic was botched worldwide. With some countries shutting down, and others not, then the countries lifting mandates, while the other countries shut down, it creates a teeter-totter. I truly believe if this virus was allowed to rip thru the world, with no lockdowns, and no vaccines. It would have been old news, and quite possibly lead to fewer deaths.
The lockdowns and vaccines has simply dragged it out. Who knows what will happen in the next 2 years. One things for sure, COVID-19 and other infectious diseases are likely to stick around.
