Lot of emotion associated with the federal legalization of happy reefer consumption. I find it fascinating. The Senate is more prissy about the legalization, even though a good number of Republican Senators favor the legalization. Unfortunately they have to answer to a small faction of constituents who vehemently oppose legalization.

Legislation on a state by state basis has been something of a compromise. Most have passed legislation that allows for consumption for medical reasons. Consumption for pleasure remains illegal, though some states have loosened up on the restrictions, just getting a citation, for example, for possession of small amounts.

If the prissy US Senate actually approves the legislation that Joe Biden will sign, up ahead is the creation of US based public traded corporations that will trade shares via either the traditional IPO route or through the SPAC route.

That would be game changing, to say the least.
