Good for you, the last time I looked I did not see an Independent Party. I know in my lifetime of 70 plus years there have been two political parties, and they have gone through many changes. They actually flipped.

It took a couple of decades for the transition, but just like the world is watching in Ukraine, it takes time for things to evolve.

I choose to be a democrat; it did not start out that way, but that is what freedom does over a lifetime of living it.

I was free to make my choice between the two political parties. I learned in life you make decisions; you can't just stay on the sidelines and shout back when you don't like what you see.

My vote does not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it was mine to use. Would I like both political parties to be better, sure I am an American, I always want more.

Just like the last election I saw a moronic failure who I had known my entire life, he never got any better, and how anyone could vote for him was beyond me.

So I stood in line for almost three hours to cast my vote for the other candidate. I did not see your independent candidate, but I know this much he lost also.

So what is great about being an independent, you just have to stand up and make a decision, it might not be the best decision, but sometimes your choices are just what they are.
