I expect them to do more plundering on farms and in rural areas than in cities. I believe that's the tradition. Russia can barely feed its citizens in times of peace, at home, so this supply chain problem should come as no surprise.

It's clear that Russia can't afford this war the way it's being fought and the provisioning of the troops is just one part of their problem.

We might not have plundered homes in cities in Iraq, but our troops definitely moved in on residences in a sniper friendly environment. If we could do it there, then the Russians, in theory, can do it in Ukraine.

Apparently, when you invade a country with the intention of conquering it, modern warfare dictates that you first secure the airways, like we did in Iraq. Russia has still not been able to do it in Ukraine, I believe they're in for a world of hurt.

Rope-a-dope, writ large.
