Yeah, it IS different. There was no concern about controlling the skies over the Balkans, as the USSR was no more.

I do remember GOP leadership losing their shit over what Clinton was planning to do. THAT kind of hyper-partisan crap hasn't changed.

Disregarding war crimes was not an option to NATO in the 90's in Bosnia.

But maybe now is different?
