Russia will not declare war against the world. They have declared war against Ukraine. If NATO gets involved Russia will certainly declare war against NATO.

More to the point, if NATO sends planes into the battle space they will certainly shoot at those planes... That means that NATO needs to neutralize Russia's air defense capability, and that's located in Russia and to some extent, I would imagine Belarus.

And at that point it's on. Missile strike on the Baltic states... Possible invasion, but Russia can't seem to manage the invasion they're involved in, so who knows how crazy they really are there.

There are Russian fleets in the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Arctic, the North Atlantic. War will include those theaters as well.

Nobody wins this thing. Everyone loses. It's like the old Bobby Baer song (lyrics by Shel Silverstein)...

Russia is asking China to help. No idea which way that goes.

Iran and Saudi Arabia are engaged in a proxy war in Yemen. Iran has already attacked Saudi Arabia at least once.
