Rick could have closed NPHC a long time ago, but he realized he could get investors to give him a "loan" with never an intent of repaying but a promise to give a sheeite load of discounted shares in settlement. Those could then be sold in the open market for hundreds of percent in profit (even at the depressed prices of today) to make the "loaner" happy. And Rik got his cash! SCAM
