Sort of a low information post. The Keystone pipeline was designed to carry tar sand oil, which is the lowest quality. In addition, it was strictly for export from the Gulf. So, yes, Biden is hampering Canadian profits on oil we don't particularly want.

It doesn't matter if the US wanted any, first, we don't need it and second, US was never part of the retail volume of product.

In other words, US was never meant to get any product at all from the keystone system. Keystone was trying to pay off republikklans and reservation tribes to take lands. frump was all for it as was mitch and munchkin and sinema. Biden and administration saw keystone for what it was and thankfully listened to the scientists and geologists on this one.
