You also forget to demonstrate all of the companies that were started, and actually found the oil fields in all of those places, and the actual production that can be garnered from each well. Some oil wells produce more than others.

Not every oil well produces the same oil as everyone else's, the post you used from the New York Post was very misleading. Sometimes oil wells have to shut down for maintenance, while other are curtailed, the New York Post was very general in each use of numbers, without taking into consideration all of the other contributing factors, like demand and price.
