Judges are nominated by Government. So, it all ends up with whom appoint them.

I suggest that SCOTUS Justices should be elected among all judges. And, there is a system to remove the poorest Justices (rated by all the judges and for 3 consecutive years).

Just before they ruled on the Colin's, there were rumours that they will review the travel records of all Justices. Is it a coincident ?
