Soviet era MIGs, seriously?

So even if those planes were brand new then, they'd be 31 years old now. I'm not sure for how long fighter jets are built to last, but I have a feeling they would have a difficult time in today's air battles. That fighter plane technology had significantly advanced in the last 30 years.

It's a nice gesture, but if that's the best the West can do, we might as well have a party for Vlad tonight.

Does Poland's air defense system actually consist of this vintage fighter planes?
