- A San Francisco corporate lawyer said it's unusual for a publicly traded firm (HPNN) to let its corporate status lapse in a state where it has offices and employees. Though Hop-On is officially registered as a Las Vegas company, its headquarters is located in Temecula, CA.

At a minimum, it's sloppiness," said Twila Foster, a director at Crosby, Heafey, Roach & May. "It's not a great thing for a company and could potentially put some of their business at risk."
