So instead of being condescending, have you even considered the idea that Manchin negotiated in bad faith and voted against what he agreed to during negotiations? You closeted conservatives pretending to be centrists or whatever love to disparage everyone that actually takes a position, while trying to float above the basics. Or do west virginians just use their intellect to procure drugs, to paraphrase your hero? You are so far into your micro politics that YOUR confirmation bias is glowing neon.
