Disagree have interacted with PCTL management several times over different areas of value proposition. IMO the technology(s) and potential for this company were initially weighted down by some poor financing decisions and the company's need for product penetration and awareness (in my professional opinion). As I have mentioned here prior a financing mechanism would prefer to loan 20 million than 1 million. To them ideas are just opiates until they see real scale. So a smaller concern like PCTL must scrap and scrape and live through many mistakes to keep the lights on in order to even have an opportunity to see a product or service come to fruition. This is the Shit not taught to MBA's but rather is a school of hard knocks that requires leadership to know what they have and to persevere.
Again, if any here have not actually built a small company from the cement up then yes a 3 minute podcast may be disappointing. However, (and you can take this or leave it as you don't know me from Adam but I am not a day trader, don't even know how) but since I have been involved in several successful upstarts I can see a company in process of scaling. SO... instead will defend a company and/or its management personnel when I know and now can see that they are persevering and keeping their eye on the long term footprint here, while also managing to keep long term prospective benefits to shareholders in mind as Patterson mentioned.
The fact that they DO NOT need to embellish and can actually make succinct points in three minutes and get back to work means there is a momentum swing imo. Many here that know the struggles they have been through may see this. Does this guarantee anything? NO. What it shows is a company that actually is growing a REAL business. I wish many more would try this build it out method instead of clever MMT calculus and disguising debt as growth. imo
