Interestingly the 2nd dog was only a spectator. The owner of the place, who was renting to the owner of the dogs, said there had been complaints from close neighbors about them and that he had been attempting to break the lease for a time. He said people came and went at all hours and he felt those renting were dealing. He has been trying to break the lease for a time, but it hasn't been easy. The attack on me seems to have been enough and they have been given notice to move out.
Apparently after the police are initially involved it all goes to the hands of the council. The owner of the place thinks the dogs have already been moved.
One plus is that the attack was on me and not on any of the children in the street. Thankfully the young ones live closer to me than to the place the dogs were.
No doubt the dog should be put down.
It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
