Even though he was telling the media he's for it. He says one thing and does another. So much of his comments in that article turned out to be lies as shown by his actions in voting.

And I'm going to speculate that munchkin and mitch had a lot to do with the rearranging the bills to give the rich back almost all the money the tax repeal would have gained. Only when these provisions were forced on the BBB, was munchkin 'interested'. There is a pay wall for further reading of that subject.
