SCOTUS is a disgrace. They picked one sentence from “incidental power” saying “for the benefit of the GSEs, or agency” and self-added that the Agency represents public interest. So, the Agency can make decision to benefit itself. They ignored that the role of a conservator is to conserve and preserve.

My interpretation is the Conservator is now authorised to rob the Conservatee. A clear case of highway robbery is now authorised.

Ever since this case, all financial institutions are subjected to nationalisation.
