Earlier today I found a job-opening listing for a cook at a Kalaka restaurant, so they are hiring (but for only a little over minimum wage). I've seen similar listings over the last month for Illegal Burger positions as well.

Unfortunately, despite finding evidence that WCVC is seeking to opening I.B. franchises, I've found no evidence at all of new stores being planned (zoning/planning board review; applications or approval for franchise-owning corporations anywhere to open new restaurants), but I suppose some of that stuff might take a while to appear on the internet if it's the sort of stuff that would make it into a public record.
