Re: eris: crumedgeons, antisemites, racist, etc.
Neuro:Studying to be a lawyer are you?
Eris: Nope. I am in my chosen career.
Have you met WEAC? You and he have something in common.
He doesn't understand satire either.
So... how long have you been working with computers?
You are assuming that I am not extremely obese and hideously ugly.
Hmmmmm. I thought Dennis said that he told you the rules about this board. Rule neumero neuro around here is NO FAT CHICKS.
(psssst, the use of that famous bumper sticker was an example of satire)
And that didn't address what I said
That's because what you said had nothing to do with what I've been trying to impress upon you about human nature. You keep droning on and on about meaningless attitudes as if they alone mark great changes in humankind. That's like saying that placing a napkin in your lap as opposed to stuffing it in your shirt collar in and of itself could bring about world peace.
Ridiculous.
Neuro: Re-read my post then.
eris: Reread at least one of mine.
Well, you re-read mine to infinity and beyond then!
<I really told her off there, didn't I?>
I've only said that I think our society will *one Day* evolve - as in 5 or 6 centuries from now
You are probably mistaken on that point as well. More than likely by that time it will have devolved. Such is the nature of many once-great civilizations.
All I am interested in are informed opinions.
Nonsense. You are interested in providing "informed" opinions. That's one of the reasons you became frustrated with Indy and complained (in the subject line of a thread) that nobody was listening to you.
My positions have not changed slightly when one is threatened
Really? Then why did you say this in one post:
Communism is not a political system. It is an economic system.{/i]
Then, in another, this:
I won't be dragged into defending the merits of communism (as you pointed out, it is essentially synonymous with socialism)
So tell me, did we suddenly just jump into a parallel universe where the definition of Communism is now different or did you decide that my view of Communism was, in fact, more correct than yours? Personally, I thought that the subject was still open for debate. But, then again, you don't want to be "dragged into defending the merits of communism", do you?
Then I also earned a nice chest and pretty eyes, and I should start expecting special consideration for it. Thanks for cluing me in.
Well, aside from helping prove my point about human nature my advice to you is that if you can market them, go for it. But remember, it's not your ta-ta's that earn the bucks it's your ability to market them.
In this new case, however, you claimed that I am pro-revolutionary, which I continually deny and you continually ignore.
You don't pay attention at all do you? I don't claim that you are a revolutionary, just that in order to implement your beloved Communism in this country would require one. A fact which you have YET to refute.
More to come....
