Conclusion: Israel is the largest net export of desalinated water in the region. As climate change continues to kick in and stresses fresh water supplies the political alignments in the Middle East will change. (not to mention high tech and economic agreements) When was the last time you heard of a Middle East country taking up the Palestinian cause?
