I’m not sure there exists an asset backed currency on this planet. They lied when the Euro was created as it was supposed to be back by 40% gold.
The Fed “creates” notes/ currency through the issuance of bonds. Real money per the constitution is Gold and Silver.
From my limited view, it appears that every country is inflating their currency. Partly to keep up with everyone else, but mostly to lower the true cost of existing debt. ….and they must continue to create more currency to service the ever increasing debt….as such gold and silver are undervalued
