There were too many strong corrupt and crooked board members who had too many corrupt political connections with both sides.JPM joined the party to open the books and books were presented and prematurely all regulators stepped in seized the bank while hedge funds, and other brokers who work on both sides while having an agreement with only oneside like GS...etc were naked shorting to death.Does Bershire take short positions?,i dont know.
No one got arrested for the financial crisis, and i believe since Enron.
They found a new way.Why do they need lobbyists?.If somebody wants break the law, lobbyists provide a way by working with lawmakers,not for free but
fee and other incentives to lawmakers.
