A small thing in the way of your theory. SCOTUS opinion that the gses were not insolvent AND retrospective relief. The commons may be wiped but there will be compensation. It may take another decade of 20% inflation devaluing the compensation but there will be something.

I am backing off of my no earlier than 2024 for shareholder resolution. Now there is a good chance it will be a decade and the biggest question is will my estate see it. If I die first all those pink sheet pennies will be sold and disbursed and someone else will bask in all the scrooge mcduck payout we have been liusting over. Unfortunately we are looking more like greedy idiot daffy duck for this "payout"
