When PayPal did their IPO in 2002...they offered 5.4 Million shares for $12 per share. The outstanding share count after the offer totaled 59.8 Million shares.
!! For the year ended December 31, 2001: We generated revenues of $103.7 million.
How can you even compare such? Don't go by my words...read for yourself:

Also, PayPal officially launched three years prior and was created in 1998
So now compare the two...please. Because the time frame is similar(3-4 years)...but the results are completely..and vastly different.
