Technically they are not recapitalizing they are just retaining cash, that cash technically still is a part of treasurys liquidation preference.



You are certainly correct, but it beats a kick in the head.

I guess they could always give it back to the Treasury to reduce the liquidation preference.

Looking forward to the confirmation hearings - she needs to be grilled on ending the conservatorship.
