In 1974 the FBI said there were 2000 bombings in the U.S.
McVeigh, Waco, Bundy, pro-Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden (1939), the Klan, the Civil War (obviously). I just don't see that things are worse now, we just hear about them 24/7.
