Up until this new ultra bright 'send a public reply' page appeared a few days ago.
It was right under the message frame I'm typing in right now.
It always showed how many posts of the 15 I have remaining. It was very helpful and quick to know I only had like 2 posts left to be annoying.

Now I have to go through maybe three routes to find and then count how many I've posted so far.
I guess you've saved some processing time or something by dropping that tracking.
Hopefully it's just in transition and will come back. I think it could go under the formatting hints paragraph to the right.
