There are many reasons a website can be down. I was just on that site recently. Could be maintenance, updates, or maybe they are redoing it?
We know they are focusing on marketing and sales, maybe there's upgrades in the works?
As for "wasn't ever any distributors..." that's nonsense. Some distributors did better than others, but many are still going, some are doing quite well.
