While I agree, if Varney or somebody else left, they would keep their options; Hank M who left earlier did so with 400 K in options, more than enough to prosper should Cortex hit the big time. At this point, the dye is cast; with a high impact deal on the way, and perhaps a low impact deal for ADHD as well, I, speaking only for myself, would be perfectly content being a virtual company, working on and awaiting ampakines to come to market. 60-100 million in the bank, waiting for those royalty checks to arrive starting in late 2112, milestones well before, conference calls discussing phase II data in HD and Fragile X; I could live with that.
