In the First Amendment it states - right to petition the government for redress of grievances. Or to Lobby the government. Most people don't have lobbyists but issues do - if your poor or a charity or whatever issue that can raise money you to can lobby the government for your issues. Now will they have the same number as Facebook or Amazon probably not but there are many organizations that have lobbyists. If you take the money out then it's the issues that become important rather than how much you can donate to their campaign and then the voter becomes more important.
