The Rittenhouse case was not a moratorium on US gun laws. The facts of the case under the existing laws are known, and he was found innocent.

He will always be a killer.

It doesn't do anyone (or side) any good to make this a protracted effort to demonize Rittenhouse, much less make him out to be some sort of hero, or even anti-hero.

I'm disgusted that a percentage of "conservatives" feel that Rittenhouse should be promoted as some type of cudgel against anti-gun legislation.

Gun culture in the US is absolutely out of control-- and control IS needed.
