American politicians are creative, they made a new super power in just 50 yrs....And damaged one severely while doing so

Sometimes I wonder what American politics and America itself would look like if we had kept that wealth here....

Details and critical thinking need to go a little past the last 5 years to understand where we are today....

Is BBB what's going to turn this country around? Nobody knows what's in it, its mostly billed as Safety Net legislation....The CBO report was encouraging but we still don't know all the details..

One thing for sure, both sides tend to throw in a tax break for the richest,,,BBB is no different there

People want a solid safety net, but they don't want us to give up and say that's all we can do.....A fair economy means we only need a minimal safety net as the past proved...

And while we are at it, maybe we can tone it all down a bit and look at this country as a whole....Rhetoric by both sides is just that, and sometimes I think Biden himself is the only dem that understands that.....

Critical thinking is one thing, common sense another, for now I see few on either side, politician or not, using both,,,,,
