The number of shares outstanding/the float is around 2 or 3 million shares, so it boggles my mind that so many shares were traded. It implies that each share was traded on average a hundred times today.

I assume that a market maker, if there is one, is making a lot of money on the trading volume today.

I wish the company well, and hope their approach works, but the FDA did not approve their drug, merely the pathway under which they could submit their application.
