You guys did it! Half a million signatures, and still going strong.
Hindus celebrated Diwali on Thursday, and Shib holders enjoyed a brilliant comeback. Proving the doubters wrong, Shib rebounded fabulously. It’s clear this dog has lots of life left in it. Coinbase opened to NY investors, and within hours we saw Shib surge over 30%.
Wealthsimple, a Canadian brokerage with good reviews, had to shut down Shib trading yesterday due to “unprecedented” volume. That means it’s the most they’ve ever seen. Brandon King, famed linebacker for the Patriots, announced on Twitter that he was buying more Shib. Endorsements and catalysts are rolling in. I believe Kraken will likely list next week. 514,000 signatures, and Change.org has set the next milestone at 1 million. Pretty cool.
This week, I read a number of posts about Shib acquiring ubiquity as a digital currency. Though still a very young coin, the number of wallets is approaching 1 million. What some have suggested is that while Bitcoin is an excellent store of value like gold, Shib will become a standard worldwide decentralized currency. There are more coins minted per week than we can keep track of! Something has to rise above the rest and become a standard like the euro or the dollar. Due to its ease of adoption for merchants, our soft spot for animals and love of the underdog, Shib could be that currency.
Congratulations. Christina at Change.org made it clear that this petition has spawned more imitations, and more shares and views on social media (the analytics show the number in the millions) than she’s seen before. That’s because of you. Way to go. Keep it up.
