The plural of the word "premise" is perfectly acceptable in English as proposition of a syllogism, from which the conclusion is drawn.

I was writing in English, not Latin. I did study Latin all 4 years in high school, though. Latin's only real benefit over the years has been knowledge of latin root words when learning other languages and occasionally in law and medicine.

But you still need to check your premises, barring another logical cul-de-sac from you.
