What bothers me is the playing by the market makers. Many years back I worked for a company that involved me in bringing them public in the pink sheets at that time. I got a big lesson on how corrupt the market makers can be. I even got to sit in on ones boiler room for a week. They were going to be the sponsoring market maker. I refused to allow them to be and proceeded to get me fired. Funny thing was three years later I opened my own business and watched the business I worked for go belly up. It made me feel great that they got their do.
These SOBs are under tighter control when involved in nasdaq companies and up but does not mean they become angels. I had my series 6 and 66 licenses and studied for my series 7 but never took the exam. I realized that I did not have it in me to screw an elderly person just to make a commission. That was not me
