I have been a bill maher watcher for 25 years. His writers, in their prime, were astonishing. I originally got HBO just to see his weekly show.

He goes into the t***** orangutan litany at the drop of a hat, it helped his street cred immensely. It was funny 5 years ago, and he still gets mileage from it, sort of like an uncle telling a story over and over.

I have been pretty tired of him in the past few months. He has veered to some other place, everything has started to be about him, and his narcissism. He was a great moderator of conflicting points of view, but of late, he seems to walk over his guests, just like Hannity.

He is becoming what he used to lampoon. I hope he shakes out of it.
