New Court Filing yesterday. Court wanting to know why plaintiff did not file amended complaint by due date. Now they have til Nov 9th to answer.
On October 13, 2021, the Court granted the parties’ request to extend plaintiffs’ deadline to file an amended complaint to October 22, 2021, to allow the parties time to continue settlement discussions.
To date, plaintiffs have not filed an amended complaint. In light of the foregoing, it is hereby ORDERED that:
1. Plaintiffs shall SHOW CAUSE in writing as to why they failed to timely file an amended complaint, on or before November 9, 2021; and
2. Plaintiffs shall FILE an amended complaint, on or before November 9, 2021.
