Hey, they still think that they're the Party of Lincoln, Jim Crow was just another bourbon and the GOP Southern Strategy was an attempt to win the Black vote.

Byrd is their boogeyman and Strom Thurmond, their unreconstructed impregnator of the 'help', is unworthy of the criticism they level at Byrd.

History is no more their strong suit than is science.
