Glad you posted those details as it gives me something positive to say about
your health system. Most of all we hear of here are the medical bankruptcies.

If it's not too personal, were you in a public or private hospital. And how much does your personal insurance cost you.

Our insurance is getting more expensive and covering less. I canceled my extra bit so now have no cover
for eyes or teeth. Or, some eye examination is covered, i think. I pay now $1740. Individual. No extras.

10 years?? ago teeth were covered by Medicare. Not for maybe 7-8 years now. Seeing my GP and having
the tests cost me zero. Seeing a specialist might be $50-$100 for the initial visit. No more after that.

That's because my doc. in the medical clinic bulk bills. It's tough for many in the country who can't find a doctor who does.
