Many of these people who are charged with insurrection and obstructing of Congress are co-operating with the FBI. Once again that is how it works, you get arrested for a serious charge, like insurrection , and the FBI, and Prosecutor get together and offer the defendant a chance for a reduced charge as long as they either testify or give up information.

I figured you have been arrested so many times in your life that you would know how the process works. I just studied law for a year when I graduated from college.
