Maybe I misunderstood you.. All I was trying to say is I didn't see the "overarching tenet" you mentioned. Did you mean it solely about her, ie, she feels above reproach? If so, I would expect a much higher rate of reversals, because it would mean her decisions were more "agenda" based than correctly applied law based, no? And as far as recusals go, doesn't there have to be some kind of conflict of interest involved for that to be appropriate? And if so, what would be her conflict requiring recusal? Are you thinking only of the "cancer" remark? If so, I don't think that's strong enough, as that remark could be misconstrued.
