That's not what happened Janice, the gay community was successfully using therapeutics that worked and pleaded with Fauxci to finance a gold standard trial (which the Fauxci always requests and used as a reason not to recommend the therapeutic.)

So.........the AIDs patients continued to die like flies, all the while imploring the Fauxci to fund a study on "their" therapeutic. Nope the Fauxci, as he has done with Covid, refused for years.

The dying Aids patients collected nickels and dimes over the year or more begging borrowing and stealing funds to privately conduct a Gold Standard trial, it cost the AIDs patients lots of time and MONEY, The results, after years of waiting and dying and being refused help from the Fauxci, the private trial did show exactly what the the dead and dying AIDs patients told FAUXCI, THE THERAPEUTIC WORKED, THE GOLD STANDARD PAID UPON THEIR DEAD BODIES WORKED!!! But the bastardly Fauxci refused the money early on to conduct a study that could have saved countless lives.
