I'm so very sorry to read about your condition and what you're enduring. I believe it should be your right to decide your personal future while you are still cognitive and the family should abide by it.
Keeping someone alive with no real connection to their surroundings or are showing no signs of activity is basically for the survivors and not for the one suffering. Doctors still take an oath to help or save lives, but they allow for the family to pull the plug in these days.
And for any stupid ass maga wanting to comment on this, this is about a singular personal issue that only impacts the one suffering and immediate family and has nothing to do with constitutional rights or political issues. So don't show up and relate this to covid or vaccines.
BSFN - I actually knew Dr. Kevorkian personally, through association of a city and later through his trials. I believe as he did that a person should have a right to end their lives when faced with incurable terminal illnesses.
I truly hope that any other approaches you may take will help you overcome this and that you don't have to face this subject yourself. This is a powerful subject that shouldn't be swept under the rug, but an incredibly painful and almost paralyzing place to be.
Keep the strength and the family's love close to you.
