Clearly a bluff. Pre-arthroscopic era knee surgery would have left an additional 6 months or so of rehab.

I suppose humping an M-60 on your shoulders could be considered rehab, but...…...

I had a bad knee from playing football and they gave me 6 months to have it operated on or they would do it for me.
