My monitor is 20" diagonal and 9.5" high...with resolution set at 75%, I get 5 players displayed and 7 players if I go full screen using the 3 dots in the upper right...if you go full screen, the esc or F11 key gets you out...

bring up your player list and hit [ctrl][-] until you get to a size you can read...[ctrl][+] brings you back...
