I seriously think iHub should follow YouTube's lead here
I am a staunch critic of social media sites that have elected to put themselves in the fraught with opportunity to be wrong position of acting as arbiters of truth. I am equally staunch supporter of their 1st Amendment right to do so on their properties should they elect to embark on that perilous and thankless path.
They are effectively substituting their judgement for those of the information consumer, and as to be expected have already been proven dead wrong in some of their past judgments of veracity. Time may tell if they chose the correct "truth" in any particular instance. In any event, I see no reason for us to appoint ourselves to the lofty status as omniscient beings.
I for one know just enough on most topics to be dangerous.
