Previously it was assumed that the three-month SVR data from about 20 patients would be communicated to the Street in a press release form.( Have they postponed the release because they want to create a bigger buzz at the EASL venue , or are they praying for better data from the ongoing trials because the currently available data doesn't look so hot ?)
Dew posted back in november that based on what VRTX IR was saying 12 week results for those 20 pts would be released in dec and then curiously those results were lumped in with pts in other treatment arms. I was wondering back then if perhaps they were suffering from a small numbers problem in that arm and buttressed the results with PCRs from other 12 week triple therapy treatment arms...even if this is the case they probably will still make a splash at EASL (but my guess is efficacy won't be optimal with just 3 months of therapy as boger hopes)
