I understand your response that placebo effect is very real, and that we aren't sure of the magnitude, nor the durations. Yes is should lessen over time and I suspect it has here. My point is that there is a difference between the placebo effect in a controlled trial where half take the drug and half do not, and the placebo effect in an open label trial where EVERYONE from the caregiver to the doctor to the patient knows they are on the drug. I think that's a pretty big distinction and one that won't be known for some time. More than 10 minutes of research of my last article suggests that a placebo effect in an open label study could be indefinitely prolonged. Not saying you are anyone else is wrong, but I am saying that even Remi himself just admitted they don't know what the placebo impact here (nor could they know) as encouraging as the trend DEFINITELY is...and yes if things play out here its a multi billion dollar company and yes this company could be bought out at any given time in the future.
