that sounds like a good plan. Crystals seem to be really hot and trendy these days. I am not a trend guy, but i have been tossing crystals into my collecting bag for many years in my desert hikes so it is just luck I guess. I have a few polished great lakes agates but none small enough for pendants right now.
The best source for these sunstones is near me, in Plush, OR and I have a lot of these to make pendants from. They are facet grade gems but I do not do faceting. I mined 10 lbs of sunstones from the spectrum mine three weeks ago. Not exactly crystals, but I have lots of quartz, calcite, tourmaline, etc. in crystal form. This watermelon sunstone is a favorite that I mined a couple years ago.
